Every spring, the NYS Maple Producers Association invites you into their “sugar houses” to experience the world of pure NY maple syrup on March 19-20 and April 2-3.
In Dover Plains, enjoy Maple Weekends at the home of Crown Maple at Madava Farms, with free maple syrup and maple sugar tastings plus maple cotton candy – even maple popcorn! Also in Dover Plains, Soukup Farms has been tapping trees since 1955! A third generation family farm, today the operation has more than 2,000 taps! They’ll celebrate from 10am – 4pm, with plenty of fun for the whole family. 845-264-3137.
Discover the wonders of Sharpe Reservation and celebrate the 13th annual Fresh Air Fund’s Sugar Maple Celebration on March 19th from 10am – 4pm!
