The Red Hook Community Center has been supplying hundreds of yards of fabric and sewing machines to local volunteers making masks. There is a call for more volunteers who can help cut fabric, pack kits with all the supplies, and drop off at the local places in need. Please read the information below provided by the non-for-profit group CRM:
“This face mask project is a group effort. We could use your help!
Seamstresses. I’m looking for more experienced sewers who will commit to sewing 25 to 50 masks per week for Vassar hospital. We have several donors who supplied all the materials needed for hospital masks. And less experienced sewers and sewers who do not want to commit to that quantity will be assigned to make masks for the other organizations. Seamstresses need to fill out this form. https://christianresourceministry.com/mask-volunteers/
