Roosevelt National Historic Site present the 3rd annual FAMILY FUN FESTIVAL on the Library’s Great Lawn and gardens and grounds of the Home. The festival is a free, public event made possible by the support of the Roosevelt Library Trustees, community partners and sponsors, including AT&T. The Home and Museum will also offer free admission on June 30, 2018.
At the center of the festival, the Library and Museum will present the FRANKLIN AND ELEANOR ROOSEVELT HUDSON VALLEY VISION AWARD to Hudsonia — for their superlative work in environmental research, education, training and technical assistance to protect the natural heritage of the Hudson Valley and neighboring regions — at Noon on the Library’s Great Lawn.
Additional offerings — for attendees of all abilities — include sensory sensitive museum time, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (with low lighting and low volume on audiovisual programs) and “Quiet Spaces” throughout the day in the Henry A.
