Rhinebeck Rotary Hosts “Cocktails for Charity” to Benefit Grace Smith House

On Monday, February 26th, at 5:30 pm, the Rhinebeck Rotary Club will host a “Cocktails for Charity” event to benefit Grace Smith House. The event will take place in the Beekman Room of the Beekman Arms in Rhinebeck and is open to the public.

Grace Smith House is a private, not-for-profit, domestic violence agency, providing both residential and non-residential services to victims of domestic violence and their children. Established in 1981, Grace Smith House Inc. focuses its mission on offering shelter, advocacy, counseling, and education to individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, on raising community consciousness regarding the extent, type, and seriousness of domestic violence, and on initiating and taking positions on public policy to expand empowering options for victims.

The suggested donation to attend the event is $15 and includes one free drink and light hors d’oeuvres. Additional cocktails can be purchased at the Beekman bar.
