Learn how to live a heart-healthy life at Northern Dutchess Hospital luncheon



Rhinebeck, N.Y. – Join medical experts to learn the facts about preventing, detecting and treating many cardiac and vascular diseases at Northern Dutchess Hospital’s Heart-Healthy Lunch and Learn.


The event is from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, in the hospital’s cafeteria conference room, 6511 Springbrook Ave. Seating is limited to 40 people.


Enjoy a free, nutritious lunch while learning about eating smart, fitness, lifestyle habits, risk factors and stress reduction.


“You will walk away empowered to take better care of your heart,” said Dr. Douglas Kroll, a cardiologist with The Heart Center’s Rhinebeck office.


Kroll and the hospital’s dynamic nutrition counselor, Roufia Payman, will co-present.


“My passion is teaching others about the food that loves you back,” Payman said.
