MLK Jr. Day of Giving! An opportunity to give back at Red Hook Public Library

(RED HOOK, NY) —             In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Red Hook Public Library and students from Bard College have partnered to present an event for people interested in doing something nice for someone else. From 1-3 pm on Saturday, January 14th, at Red Hook Public Library there will be activities available such as making toys for animals in shelters, writing letters, and creating compliment flyers. This is a nice opportunity for children to be introduced to community engagement while learning something about the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. All ages are welcome to stop by and contribute.

This event is free and open to the public.

Red Hook Public Library has been serving the community of Red Hook and its need for lifelong learning since 1898.
