Writing It Out Creative Writing for Parents of Special Needs Kids at Red Hook Public Library
(RED HOOK, NY) — Diana Rush, local grad student and homeschooling mother of six, will lead a four week creative writing workshop for parents of children with special needs. “Write It Out” runs from 5-7 pm on Thursdays, February 2nd-23rd, at Red Hook Public Library. The series will utilize exercises and writing prompts, encouraging participants to use their writing as a means of sorting through the unique challenges and victories of parenting special kids. This will be a safe space to share and explore thoughts and feelings. Everyone is welcome and no writing experience is necessary. Please bring a new notebook and something to write with.
Class is free and open to the public. Registration is required by calling the library.
