Dewey Decimators Brace for Battle Red Hook Public Library’s 15th Annual Trivia Contest
(RED HOOK, NY) — Competition is both fierce and a whole lot of fun at the annual Trivia Contest fundraiser for Red Hook Public Library. This year’s event starts at 1 pm on Sunday January 29th at Cancun’s Family Mexican Restaurant in the center of Red Hook Village. Doors open at 12:15, and a cash bar and appetizer menu will be available throughout the afternoon.
This is the 15th year of the popular event where teams, including the library’s own Dewey Decimators, face off to answer random questions on topics such as history, geography, art, and popular culture. Tickets can be obtained by contacting Karen at 758-0277 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Teams of 5 pay $75 and teams of 6, the maximum, $90. Proceeds benefit the library.
Cancun Family Mexican Restaurant is located at 7483 S. Broadway, Red Hook NY 12571. Parking is adjacent in the village lot.
