Holiday bake and plant sales raise money for healthcare delivery

 

 

Rhinebeck, N.Y. – Show your holiday spirit and give back to your community by shopping at one of Northern Dutchess Hospital Auxiliary’s holiday sales this season.

 

This all-volunteer group spend hours planning and baking for these fundraising events that support the nonprofit hospital and its affiliated skilled nursing center, the Thompson House. Here’s a list of upcoming events:

 

  • The Thanksgiving Bake Sale will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 22, in the hospital main lobby, at 6511 Springbrook Ave., Rhinebeck. The volunteer group offers a variety of pies, breads and other goods at affordable prices.
  • The Holiday Plant and Decorating Sale is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday Nov. 30, and Thursday, Dec. 1, in the main lobbies of the hospital and the Thompson House, 6526 Springbrook Ave., Rhinebeck. Purchase poinsettias, kissing balls, wreaths and garland as well as handmade holiday decorations and gifts.
  • The Christmas Cookie Bake Sale is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9, in the hospital main lobby.
