Rhinebeck Central School District Capital Project Referendum
In order to provide community members with opportunities to learn more about the upcoming Capital Project Referendum before the vote that is scheduled for December 6, 2016, from 2:00 to 9:00 pm in the Bulkeley Middle School cafeteria, the District has scheduled the following meetings, “walk throughs” and presentations:
Thursday, November 17 – Coffee With the Board: CLS Community Room, 9:00 to 10:00 am; BMS/RHS Library, 7:00 – 8:00 pm; Come discuss with Board of Education members, or ask questions about the proposed Capital Project, about the District’s School Start Time initiative, and/or about any other school-related topics that are on your mind.
Saturday, November 19 – Facilities “Walk Through,” a guided tour of the current condition of the school district’s two buildings: 9:30 am, starting at Chancellor Livingston Elementary School; Take a guided tour of the District’s two school buildings, starting at Chancellor Livingston Elementary School at 48 Knollwood Road, Rhinebeck, NY and ending at Bulkeley Middle School/Rhinebeck High School, 45 North Park Road, to see the facilities needs first-hand and ask questions about the proposed work.
Monday, November 21 – Facilities “Walk Through,” a guided tour of the current condition of the school district’s two buildings; 4:00 pm, starting at Chancellor Livingston Elementary School; We will repeat Saturday’s tour outlined in the activity description above.
Tuesday, November 22, 2016 – Capital Project Referendum Presentation, 7:00 pm at the BMS/RHS Library; Mr. Garrett Hamlin, the District’s architect, will make a presentation of the proposed capital project. Mr. Hamlin and members of the District staff and Board of Education members will respond to questions from those in attendance.
