Pack Walk Red Hook Public Library hosts Black Friday event

(RED HOOK, NY) —  Put on your best walking shoes and join Red Hook Public Library for its first Black Friday Pack Walk at 11 a.m. Friday, November 25. The healthy, family-friendly and furry alternative to shopping will begin at the library. The route will travel throughout the Village of Red Hook. The Dutchess County SPCA will bring adoptable dogs and accept donations of items needed at the shelter. Participants are invited to bring their four-legged family members, or favorite toy dogs, and walk with the group.

This is a nice opportunity to start off an often overwrought holiday season by getting outside with family and neighbors while treating our most devoted best friends to some species-specific socialization!

The event is free and open to the public. Please bring leashes for your dogs. The DCSPCA’s wish list can be viewed here:  https://dcspca.org/wish-list/
