Officers from the Rhinebeck Police Department report the arrest of a Wappingers Falls man following a hit and run property damage accident in the Village of Rhinebeck on November 2, 2016. The officer located and stopped the vehicle after it struck a parked pick up truck, and it was determined that the driver had a suspended license and that the vehicle was unregistered. The driver, Sean Dooley, 44, of 4 Donny Drive Wappingers Falls, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd Degree, an unclassified misdemeanor. He was also charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident and having an unregistered motor vehicle, both traffic infractions. Dooley was issued appearance tickets and is due to return to the Village of Rhinebeck Court on November 9, 2016 at 3:30PM.
