Healthy Living with Alzheimer’s
Alzheimer’s Association to host workshop at Red Hook Public Library
(RED HOOK, NY) — Are you or a loved one living with Alzheimer’s? Learn how lifestyle changes can help ease symptoms and potentially prevent this during “Healthy Living for Body and Brain” at 6 p.m. Thursday, September 15, at Red Hook Public Library.
At any age there are lifestyle habits we can adopt to benefit health in both body and mind. This workshop covers the most current knowledge in the fields of cognitive activity, nutrition, exercise, and social engagement with the goal of maximizing wellbeing and possibly delaying cognitive decline associated with aging.
This is the third program in a year-long series with the Alzheimer’s Association. It is free and open to the public, but registration is required as space is limited. Please call 845-758-3241 to secure your spot.
