Short Story Walk & Talk

Exercise the body and the brain!  Mondays in July 9am  at Rhinebeck High School track

As we walk we’ll discuss a short story we’ve all read. Bring some water to hydrate and some thoughts on the story to exercise your body and your brain.  Copies of the short stories are available at the library’s front desk.

This exhibit is a compliation of mixed media from an online Facebook group. Most of the participating artists live in the Hudson Valley, though some are coming from as far as New York City and New Hampshire. Besides being a forum to share art and participate in challenges, it has become a group where people have become friends, both in the virtual and physcial world.

Starr Cookbook Club

Wednesday, July 27th 6:30pm – 8pm

Come and join a Book Club for all you foodies out there! This time “summer fruits” will be our chosen ingredient. Think blueberries, raspberries, apricots or melon…whatever is fresh and ripe. Please bring the recipe/cookbook with you to the event. We’ll gather together, share our food, recipes and thoughts. We’ll supply drinks and tableware.
