Join us for an evening steeped in Hudson Valley history as we present authors George C. Daughan with his book Revolution on the Hudson: New York City and the Hudson River Valley in the American War of Independence and Vernon Benjamin with his acclaimed The History of The Hudson River Valley: From the Wilderness to the Civil War.

George C. Daughan holds a PhD from Harvard University, where he studied under Henry Kissinger. His books If By Sea and 1812: The Navy’s War won the Samuel Eliot Morison Award.

Vernon Benjamin has lectured on the history of the Hudson Valley at Marist College and Bard College since 2003. A former editor of the New Saugerties Times, he has written extensively on the Hudson Valley for various publications and has appeared on C-SPAN.

This event will take place at the Morton Memorial Library, 82 Kelly St, Rhinecliff, NY. Tickets are required.
