Rhinebeck – The Rhinebeck offices of The Heart Center and Health Quest Medical Practice physicians recently relocated to the new patient pavilion at Northern Dutchess Hospital, 6511 Springbrook Ave.
The cardiology, general surgery and primary care doctors’ offices are in separate suites on the first floor of the hospital’s $47 million Martin and Toni Sosnoff Pavilion. Each office offers multiple exam rooms, a comfortable waiting area and new medical equipment. Free valet parking and concierge services are available to patients.
There are many perks to the proximity to hospital services. Patients don’t have to leave the campus when their physician orders imaging or laboratory tests, and they can walk down the hall to schedule an appointment with a specialist. Physicians are able to directly admit patients to the hospital, more easily examine patients who have been admitted and consult with their colleagues.

– The general surgery office of Dr. James Wing, Dr. Kumar Pranat and Dr. Gregory Zale, formerly of the hospital’s west wing.
– The Heart Center office of Dr. Douglas Kroll, Dr. Benjamin Schaefer and physician assistant Deirdre McKibbin, formerly of Springbrook Park.
The hospital will also open and operate a cardiovascular diagnostic center in the pavilion adjacent to The Heart Center. The office offers outpatients noninvasive diagnostic tests, including stress tests, echocardiography, ultrasounds andvascular imaging.
“Northern Dutchess Hospital is now a one-stop shop for many patients. And, being on the campus allows me to respond more quickly to patients’ needs, which ultimately translates into better care,” said Dr. Kroll.
