Earth Day at Drayton Grant Park at Burger Hill

Join us this Earth Day on Friday, April 22nd, as we celebrate the conservation and protection of our natural environment! Winnakee will be hosting two Earth Day events between the hours of 1 pm and 5 pm.

1.Crabapple Clean-up from 1 pm to 3 pm:

From 1 pm to 3 pm, volunteers will meet at the Hill for a clean-up of our Crabapple Grove. Winnakee will need help removing the deer fences and weeds that surround the trees as well as laying down landscape fabric and mulch. Please bring your own pair of gardening gloves! 2. Flower Planting from 3 pm to 5 pm:

For the remainder of the day, Winnakee will be planting flower bulbs at the Hill! This portion of the day is open to adults and children of all ages. Come enjoy a cool, refreshing drink on Winnakee and plant a few bulbs! Planting will take place between 3 pm and 5 pm. Please bring gardening gloves and a trowel if you have them! This is a FREE event open to all!
