On April Fool’s Day, join Fran Lebowitz and Daniel Mendelsohn, two of literature’s cleverest raconteurs, as they carry on a public conversation in the Sosnoff Theater. Bard Professor of Humanities Daniel Mendelsohn is the author of seven books, including Waiting for the Barbarians: Essays from the Classics to Pop Culture (2012). Cultural critic Fran Lebowitz is the author of two sharp-tongued essay collections, Metropolitan Life and Social Studies. “Her essays and topical interviews . . . have come to be regarded as classics of literary humor and social observation.” (The Paris Review)
