The trustees of the Tivoli Free Library are hosting the first “Tivoli’s Got Talent” showcase upstairs at Murray’s cafe in Tivoli  on Friday, April 8th at 7pm. All are invited to attend this free community event.

The talent show will be MC’d by long-time Tivoli resident Steve Young. A wide range of acts are planned, including several family bands, parent/child dance performances, musical solos, poetry readings, and even a talk about Tivoli, Italy. Performers include Bard students, adults, teens, and children who live in the area.

“A talent show is a fun way to bring the community together,” said Bonny Corrado, Tivoli Free Library director. “We got a great response from the community, with all sorts of performances planned. It’s going to be a great show.”

Murray’s is located at 73 Broadway in Tivoli. The talent show is free to attend. Coffee and snacks will be provided by the community, with beverages for sale by Murray’s. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m.
