Daily Freeman Reports: Two incumbents and a former town councilwoman win seats on Rhinebeck Village Board

RHINEBECK, N.Y. >> Residents have returned two incumbents and elected a former Town Board member to Village Board seats.

Winning two-year terms were Republican Trustee Scott Cruikshank, of 21 N. Parsonage St., with 304 votes, and Democratic Trustee Gary Bassett, of 6 Somers Drive, with 351 votes.

Out of the running for the two-year seats were Republican candidate Sean Kemp, of 33 Stortini Drive, with 283 votes, and Democratic candidate Richard Lewit, of 39 Lorraine Drive, with 298 votes.

The election to fill a one-year, unexpired term, was won by Democratic former Councilwoman Gina Fox, of 9 Manor Road, with 333 votes.
