Using origami, music and audience participation, storyteller Kuniko Yamamoto provides a magical entry into Japanese culture. In her new show “Origami Tales,” mythological character masks & puppets, amazing flowers and a dragon-all made from origami-set the stage while Kuniko shares heartfelt stories from ancient Japan.

Billy Bones take the audience on a madcap, non-violent adventure for the whole family. Come experience slapstick comedy, eccentric props, original music and special effects routines, zany theatrical swordplay, adept magic and more!  Loads of hilarious audience participation adds to the piratical fun. Kids encouraged to dress like pirates! Ages 4 and up.

Apr. 2 Barefoot Dance Company

This unique company of young dancers will perform several innovative modern dance pieces in a delightful concert with engaging talent and inspiring music. Audience members of all ages will find the variety of work exciting and enjoyable.

Shakespeare’s coming-of-age/young-love tragedy set in today’s rural America with a contemporary music underscore, pitting the haves against the have-nots.  Adapted and directed by Lou Trapani. For middle and high school students. Tickets $8.00.

April 26 & 28, 10:00 a.m.

Inspired by Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet,” “West Side Story” the musical explores the rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks, two teenage street gangs of different ethnic backgrounds. Directed by Kevin Archambault.
For middle and high school students. Tickets $10.00.
