ANNUAL EGG SCRAMBLE Red Hook welcomes spring with traditional egg hunt

 

 

(RED HOOK, NY) –Celebrate the start of spring with the the Red Hook Police Department, Red Hook Public Library, and the Village of Red Hook during the annual Egg Scramble. The fun takes place starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19, on the Linden Avenue Middle School lawn.

 

More than just an egg hunt, the annual Scramble will also include crafts and face painting. The hunt itself will be open to kids from toddlers through age 10. Bags are provided. Funding and prizes are donated by local businesses.

 

In the case of inclement weather, the Egg Scramble will be held on Saturday, March 26. Linden Avenue Middle School is located at 65 W Market Street in Red Hook, NY.

 

Red Hook Public Library has been serving the community of Red Hook and its need for lifelong learning since 1898. In 2013 and 2014, it was designated a five-star library by Library Journal. The library was chosen as a finalist for the Best Small Library in America award, given by Library Journal and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, in 2015.
