Rhinebeck, New York…..The Rhinebeck Republican Committee, Rhinebeck Together, and the Rhinebeck Democratic Committee today announced plans to host a public forum this Friday, March 11, 2016, at 7pm at the Rhinebeck Town Hall on East Market Street.
The forum will be moderated by John Penney, opinion engagement editor at the Poughkeepsie Journal and Village of Rhinebeck resident, and will provide village residents with the opportunity to learn more about the candidates seeking seats on the Village of Rhinebeck Board of Trustees. You can submit questions for consideration to him at firstname.lastname@example.org. Questions must be addressed to all the candidates and not be specific to a particular candidate.
Candidates for office who are expected to attend the event include the following:
Gary Bassett, incumbent trustee seeking two-year term
Ric Lewit, seeking two-year term
Gina Fox, seeking one-year term
Rhinebeck Together (funded in part and endorsed by the Rhinebeck Republican Party):
Scott Cruikshank, incumbent trustee seeking two-year term
Sean M. Kemp, Esq., incumbent trustee seeking two-year term
Sheri Monaco, seeking one-year term
The election will be held on Tuesday, March 15, from 12-9pm at the Rhinebeck Town Hall.
