Wilderstein Historic Site is a house museum in Rhinebeck, New York. The estate, with its exquisite Queen Anne mansion and Calvert Vaux designed landscape, is widely regarded as the Hudson Valley’s most important example of Victorian architecture. Wilderstein was the home of Margaret (Daisy) Suckley, a distant cousin and confidante of Franklin Roosevelt. Our regular season for guided tours is May through October. The mansion is also open and decorated for the holidays from Thanksgiving weekend until the end of December.
