All About Alzheimer’s Learn about memory loss, dementia, and Alzheimers with Red Hook Public Library and the Alzheimer’s Association

 

 

(RED HOOK, NY) —  One in three seniors dies with Alzheimer’s or another dementia, yet only 45% of their caregivers are even told their diagnosis.  Red Hook Public Library will host an educator from the Alzheimer’s Association at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at the Elmendorph Inn.  A presentation on essential facts will be followed by a period of questions and answers.

 

The program is free and open to the public but registration is required as space is limited. Please call the library at 758-3241 to reserve a spot.

 

Red Hook Public Library has been serving the community of Red Hook and its need for lifelong learning since 1898. In 2013 and 2014, it was designated a five-star library by Library Journal.
