(RED HOOK, NY) — One in three seniors dies with Alzheimer’s or another dementia, yet only 45% of their caregivers are even told their diagnosis. Red Hook Public Library will host an educator from the Alzheimer’s Association at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at the Elmendorph Inn. A presentation on essential facts will be followed by a period of questions and answers.
The program is free and open to the public but registration is required as space is limited. Please call the library at 758-3241 to reserve a spot.
Red Hook Public Library has been serving the community of Red Hook and its need for lifelong learning since 1898. In 2013 and 2014, it was designated a five-star library by Library Journal.
