Get a Job! Red Hook Public Library offers job search assistance

 

 

 

(RED HOOK, NY) — Red Hook Public Library is partnering with Dutchess OneStop to provide free job counseling from 2 to 4 p.m. on the following Thursdays: February 18, March 17, and April 7. Attendees will have a one-on-one session with an expert to create a resume, or help do a job search and connect with other resources available to those seeking employment.

 

These sessions will take place at the Elmendorph Inn and can be reserved by emailing mlambert@dutchessonestop.org or calling 845-249-4644.

 

This program is free and open to the public. Registration is required. The Elmendorph Inn is located at 7562 Route 9 in Red Hook Village.

 

Red Hook Public Library has been serving the community of Red Hook and its need for lifelong learning since 1898. In 1935, the library made its home in a mid-nineteenth century octagonal building based on the designs of Orson Squire Fowler. In 2013 and 2014, it was designated a five-star library by Library Journal. The library was chosen as a finalist for the Best Small Library in America award, given by Library Journal and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, in 2015.
