  THE HIGHEST TOTALS WILL BE IN THE TOWNS THAT BORDER PUTNAM...
  FAIRFIELD...AND NEW HAVEN COUNTIES.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BECOME STEADY THIS MORNING AND BECOME
  MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY AT TIMES THROUGH THE DAY. SNOW WILL
  TAPER OFF TO FLURRIES AND SNOW SHOWERS THIS EVENING AND END BY
  MIDNIGHT.

* MAXIMUM SNOWFALL RATES...AROUND HALF AN INCH PER HOUR WITH
  LOCALLY HIGHER RATES POSSIBLE.
