Arbor Ridge Event

January 21, 2 PM at Arbor Ridge Community Room:  Rhinebeck at Home presents Bard College history professor emeritus Dr. Mark H. Lytle speaking about Rachel Carson, Silent Spring, and the Rise of the Environmental Movement. 

Dr. Lytle’s book The Gentle Subversive written in 2007 offers a compact life of Rachel Carson and describes what led to write her landmark book Silent Spring.  Dr. Lytle presents the life of Rachel Carson in its success, controversy and vindication.
