Children’s Programs on the Move Red Hook Public Library moves programs to village venues

 

 

(RED HOOK, NY) –Red Hook Public Library will be undergoing construction on a new program space starting January 18, but will continue its toddler and preschool storytimes offsite at the Village Hall Courtroom and Little Pickles.

 

Preschool Story Time will start at 10:30 am every Wednesday beginning January 20 and will take place in the bright, open Village Hall Courtroom. Each week our story time for preschool-aged children focuses on a different theme, with stories are supplemented by activities and crafts. The Village Hall is located at 7467 South Broadway in Red Hook.

 

Toddler Romp & Stomp will take place at 10 am every Monday starting January 25. The folks at Little Pickles have been generous enough to lend the library their playroom for this music and movement program. Little Pickles is located at 7505 North Broadway in Red Hook.

 

These events are free and open to the public.

 

Red Hook Public Library has been serving the community of Red Hook and its need for lifelong learning since 1898. It has been designated a five-star library by Library Journal for the past four years. The library was chosen as a finalist for the Best Small Library in America award, given by Library Journal and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, in 2015.
