TIVOLI FREE LIBRARY TO HOST TALK ON CHRISTMAS MYTHS

 

 

Tivoli, NY – Have you ever wondered why we hang up stockings? Or where Rudolph came from? And what do slaves and a demon have to do with Santa Claus? Local author and educator Thomm Quackenbush will be at the Tivoli Free Library Saturday, December 19 from 1-2 p.m. to explore these questions and more at his talk “A Creature Is Stirring: The Christmas myths you may have missed.”

Mr. Quackenbush will reveal the facts behind well-known Christmas stories and share some Christmas myths you may not have come across. This event is free and open to all.

The Tivoli Free Library is located in the historic Watts dePeyster Hall at 86  Broadway in the Village of Tivoli, NY.
