Creative Crossroads Presents Paintings by Susan Roth

Stanfordville, NY, Sept. 11, 2015 – Creative Crossroads will present “Paintings by Susan Roth”, an exhibition of oil paintings by artist Susan Roth from 12 – 5pm on Saturday, Oct. 17th and Sunday, Oct. 18th, and again on Saturday, Oct. 24th and Sunday, Oct. 25th. The exhibition will be held at The Stanford Grange #808, 6043 Route 82 in Stanfordville, NY.

Roth will show approximately 50 of her bright and joyful paintings at The Grange. Painting in vivid oil colors, Roth’s work originates from a landscape, still life or city scene she has captured and exaggerates into an abstract composition.  All of Roth’s bold paintings emphasize “strong composition and strong colors”, and express her mood and her excitement about her artwork.

Roth was first exposed to art as a high school student in Pittsburgh, PA, where she was chosen to participate in an art program at the Carnegie Mellon Museum. More recently, Roth has been studying at The Art Student League of New York ever since moving to New York City in 1967.  The artist divides her time painting at her studio in pastoral Ancram, NY and in New York City.

All Creative Crossroads’ events are free and open to the public. For more information on Susan Roth, please visit www.susanrothartist.com
