DUTCHESS COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS TO HOST ELECTRONICS TAKE-BACK DAY ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH, 2015

 

 

Rhinebeck NY – The Dutchess County Fairgrounds, in partnership with HVFCU and Advanced Recovery, Inc., Is hosting and electronics take-back day program on Saturday, September 26, 2015 for Rhinebeck and Red Hook residents between the hours of 9 AM and 1 PM.

On Saturday, September 26, individuals can bring as much of their old electronic equipment as they can fit into their cars to the Fairgrounds (between 9 AM and 1 PM). Individuals can leave the accepted items for safe, effective disposal/recycling by Advanced Recovery, Inc.

 

Items Accepted:

The Electronics take-back day program will except for recycling the following types of electronic devices:

  • cell phones
  • computer monitors
  • copiers
  • CPUs
  • CRTs
  • DVD players
  • fax machines
  • keyboards
  • laptops
  • MP3 players
  • Modems
  • old computers
  • printers
  • radios
  • rechargeable batteries
  • scanners
  • stereo equipment
  • telephones
  • terminals
  • TVs
  • Typewriters
  • VCRs
  • VHS players

There is a $10 fee per unit on CRT (old style glass tube) monitors and televisions and $20 per unit on items containing refrigerant such as air conditioners.
