NDH Foundation golf event raises $35,000 for hospital

Rhinebeck, N.Y. – More than $35,000 was raised to support Northern Dutchess Hospital’s delivery of quality healthcare during the 36th annual NDH Foundation Golf Classic.

About 150 golfers competed in a fun-filled day, which included 18 holes of golf at the Red Hook Golf Club, refreshments and an awards reception with a raffle of high-valued giveaways.  The top-scoring teams received an assortment of prizes.

Various challenges, such as a ring toss and putting contest, were also held on the course while a vacation to Hilton Head was auctioned to the highest bidder. The proceeds of the tournament will be used to support existing and new hospital services, including the $47 million building expansion, which is slated to open in early 2016.

“A great time was had by all during the foundation’s first-class golf event,” tournament chairman Keith Reichelt said. “We appreciate all the players who supported our local hospital and the great things NDH does for our community.”
