WILD PLACES – THE BEAUTY OF A LAND UNTAMED Featuring Artist Tarryl Gabel & Photographer Gregory Martin

Tarryl Gabel and Gregory Martin, two artists with very different backgrounds and mediums, found common ground with their love of the outdoors in their two person show; Gregory, through the lens with his landscape photography, and Tarryl, behind the brush, with her canvas and oils. With this show, the two artists hope to bring attention to the splendor and grandeur of our wild places that are often missed or taken for granted; to capture a fleeting moment in time and make an emotional connection with their audience through their respective mediums. It may be the way the light and atmosphere change the landscape or to capture the night sky or maybe a fox running across the snow. Most important, they want to remind the viewers we are not alone, but share this beautiful land and the wild creatures that inhabit it.
