New administrator takes the helm at Thompson House

 

 

Rhinebeck, N.Y. – Elaine Trott of Kingston was recently named the new administrator of the Thompson House.

She will oversee all aspects of the 100-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center on Northern Dutchess Hospital’s campus in Rhinebeck.  “It’s an honor to be a part of such a dedicated team with a shared goal of giving our residents the best quality of life, whether they are recuperating from surgery or needing long-term care,” Trott said. For more than two decades, Trott was employed by Ten Broeck Commons in Lake Katrine. She was assistant administrator of the nursing center for the previous nine years. She also held the title of human resources director there since 1994.

Elaine Trott  A graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego, she holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and minored in philosophy. Trott replaces Linda Miele-Cavalaro, of Poughkeepsie, who will retire at the end of February after 17 years of service.
