A Local Law Enacting a Further One Year Moratorium on the Implementation of the Provisions of §125-61 et. seq. of the Town of Rhinebeck Code Relating to Green Building Standards for a Period of One Year

The Rhinebeck Town Board will conduct a public hearing on the adoption of a Local Law entitled “A Local Law Enacting a Further One Year Moratorium on the Implementation of the Provisions of §125-61 et. seq. of the Town of Rhinebeck Code Relating to Green Building Standards for a Period of One Year”, on February 9, 2015 at 6:45 pm at the Rhinebeck Town Hall, 80 East Market Street, Rhinebeck, New York.

The purpose of the Local Law is to enact a further one-year moratorium on the implementation of §125-61 et. seq. of the Town Code relating to Green Building Standards in certain commercial and residential construction for an additional period of one year while the Town Board studies, and possibly implements, changes to that section of the Code.

The enactment of the above proposed local law has been classified as a Type II action under SEQRA and does not require environmental review.

 

Copies of the proposed local law are on file in the Office of the Town Clerk and may be examined during normal business hours.

 

Comments in writing are invited for receipt by the Town Clerk at any time prior to the close of the public hearing. Comments may also be personally made at the Public Hearing at which time all interested persons will be afforded the opportunity to be heard.
