Workshops to keep you warm in January at Red Hook Public Library

(RED HOOK, NY) – It may  be cold outside but Red Hook Public Library will keep you warm with its sweet winter workshops. Learn everything you need to know – or at least begin – to keep bees, make wine and tap trees for your own maple syrup.

Beekeeper extraordinaire Remco Krafft will arrive in full regalia at 6 p.m. Tuesday January 13, when he explains how to start a backyard hive (just in time to order bees for this coming spring.) The kids will love this program too!

You’ll want to raise a glass at 6 p.m. Friday, January 16, when award-winning beer and wine maker Bruce Fanconi of Party Creations leads a Wine Making 101. Attendees will have a chance to see how to create their own as well…
