State Police are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify a wanted female subject

State Police from the Wappinger barracks continue to investigate a bank fraud case that occurred at several Chase bank locations in the Hudson Valley area.

On February 17, 2014, the pictured subject cashed forged personal checks at the following Chase Bank locations:  Route 9W in the Town of Newburgh, Main St. in the City of Beacon, and Route 9 in the Village of Fishkill.  Another attempt by the same female to cash a forged check was thwarted by the staff at the Chase Bank located on Route 9 in the Village of Wappingers Falls.

The New York State Police are looking to identify the suspect.  She is described as being in her late 20s to early 30s, between 5’4 – 5’7″, thin, with brown hair, and light colored eyes.

She was wearing a leather jacket and dark-colored hospital scrubs.
