RHINEBECK AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ANNOUNCES 2014 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT
Each year, the Rhinebeck Area Chamber of Commerce awards $1,000.00 to a deserving graduate of the Rhinebeck High School who is going on to pursue a Business-related field of study. The recipient has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, has gone above-and-beyond their community service requirement, supplied glowing recommendations, as well as a written essay. “We always receive many worthy applications, so it is always hard to determine one recipient. This year, we are pleased to have chosen Daimyn Potts whose character, both in and outside of school, is a shining example of what we hope to see in all students,” says Sean Kemp, President of the Board of Directors.
Colleen Cruikshank, Executive Director adds, “We would like to thank Rhinebeck Bank and Sharp Images Photographic for partnering with the Rhinebeck Area Chamber this year on a calendar project to raise additional money for our Scholarship Fund.”
