Saturday, May 17th 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Chancellor Livingston Elementary School 48 Knollwood Road, Rhinebeck.
RHINEBECK, NY — Every year the parents of fifth grade students at Chancellor Livingston Elementary School challenge themselves to help preserve a school tradition: the annual whale watching trip to Cape Cod, Mass. A series of fundraisers take place throughout the year, but by far the largest is the
Whale of an Auction, which will be held on May 17th from 11- 2pm
The students are especially excited about the first-ever Dessert Wars with more than a dozen young chefs competing to win you over with their homemade specialties.
Some students are focusing on fancy decorations and others are inventing their own, unique dessert.
Our Chef Judge will choose the winner of prizes such as Chef’s Choice, Best Decorated, Most Unique and Best Presentation but you get to vote for the winner of the coveted People’s Choice award!
At the same time, the auction will have many great gifts and treats! Some of the items up for grabs include sports collectibles, dance and art lessons, horseback riding lessons, portrait sessions, custom stationary and calligraphy. We also have passes to Paintball, Bounce or Big Bear Ziplines, movie passes and bowling. There’s jewelry, fashion and original artwork by local artists. There’s a two night stay in NYC and Pilates lessons. And of course gift certificates to Rhinebeck’s fabulous shops and restaurants!
