Rhinebeck Community Vacation Bible School 2014

This years “Operation God’s Creation” Vacation Bible School is a collaboration between the Church of the Messiah, Third Lutheran Church and Rhinebeck Reformed Church. Together, we have created a program that will keep children engaged and active as they learn the importance of caring for God’s creation and all of the creatures with whom we share it.

We will be designing a children’s garden with the help of the VBS kids and staff this year. We will be making stepping stones, birdfeeders, wind chimes and planting flowers for everyone to enjoy. We will also play cooperative games with environmental themes. Our Bible story sessions will be based on biblical stories about caring for the earth. They are interactive, theatrical and tons of fun!

Vacation Bible School will run Monday, Aug. 11th—15th, 2014, from 9:00 AM—12:00 PM at The Church of the Messiah, 6436 Montgomery St.  in Rhinebeck.  We welcome children ages 3 – 12 yrs. We also welcome teens of registered families to volunteer as junior counselors. There is a small registration fee of $20.00 per student, $35.00 for 2 children, and $50.00 for a family.
