The Road to Growth: Scale Your Business. Up your Game -Thursday, March 27, 2014

The Women’s Enterprise Development Center, Mid-Hudson Valley (WEDC-MHV), in partnership with the Rhinebeck Area Chamber of Commerce and Re>Think Local will hold a daylong conference on March 27, 2014 at Locust Grove in Poughkeepsie, NY. The conference, “The Road to Growth: Scale Your Business. Up Your Game.” will provide future and current business owners the opportunity to gain valuable information about how to grow their businesses in the current economic environment.

The keynote speaker for the conference, Willie. C. Taylor, Regional ROAD TO GROW _ RHINBECK CHAMBER MARCH 2014Director of the U.S. Economic Development Administration, will address the critical importance of small business as a key to economic development and growth in the region. Following the address, attendees will break into four different concurrent workshops focused on business growth and development: marketing; customer service; financing for growth; and, the triple bottom line. Local successful business owners will facilitate the workshops.

In addition, there will be a round table of successful Hudson Valley business owners, moderated by Tom Sipos, host of Hudson Valley Live Radio on critical issues affecting small business. Panelists are: Frank Campagna, President, ColorPage Marketing and Publishing; Judith Papo, President, HV Shred, Inc.; Lou Paradise, President and CEO, Topical Biomedics, Inc.; and, Kimberley Williams, Senior Vice President, Williams Lumber & Home Centers.
