Morton’s Food Drive – March 1 – April 30, 2014

Local food banks are struggling to fill gaps on their shelves.  “We are grateful for sundries and groceries:  shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, peanut butter, jelly, canned meats, coffee, fruit juices, cereal, oatmeal, hearty soups, canned pastas, canned fruit, cat food, laundry detergent, bleach.”

NO EXPIRED FOOD or OPEN CONTAINERS.volunteers putting food in donation box

Please bring food items to Morton (during our open hours) for us to donate to the Church of the Messiah and Dutch Reformed Church in Rhinebeck.

We have a lot of programs, and we suggest food as your admission price. When you visit the library, simply put your non-perishable items in the containers. If you have overdue fines on your record but food items in your hand, let’s talk!

Thanks for your help in this worthy endeavor!
