Holiday shopping? The Friends have set aside beautiful mint-condition books at very low prices that will please anyone on your gift list. If you need gifts for people who love music, theater, dance, art, decorating, sports, movies, history, don’t miss this opportunity to find a beautiful book on their favorite subject. This sale has an outstanding collection of books on photography along with “giftworthy” cookbooks, biographies, and memoirs.
You will also find books related to the holidays in several categories, from kids books to cookbooks.
On the other hand, if you are shopping for books to read in the cold, snuggle-up-with-a-book times that are just ahead, you can explore adult hardcover fiction and non-fiction books, starting at 50¢, trade paperback books for $1.00, and recent publications from $2.00. Books in the sale are sorted into collections on history, biography, religion, philosophy, health, sports, travel, theater, music, hobbies, and more. And it might be a great time to brush up your French reading skills: there’s a selection of novels and mystery stories that have been translated into the French language.
Trade paperbacks – the larger paperbacks that cost $14.00 to $16.00 – cost just $2.00. Children’s books start as low as 20¢ – and there are books for every age, from picture books for the little ones to chapter books for older readers.
Some large-print fiction and non-fiction books are in the sale, along with books on CD. And there’s a great selection of music CDs and many DVDs.
