The Beekman Arms and Delamater Inn and Conference Center Host Third Graders for Annual Halloween Tradition
Rhinebeck, New York….The Beekman Arms and Delamater Inn and Conference Center of Historic Rhinebeck hosted third graders from Chancellor Livingston School this morning, who delivered newly-carved pumpkins to the lawn of the Beekman Arms, arriving by haywagon. This annual tradition included hot cocoa and cookies for the children, and a chance for families, and the broader community, to participate in the festivities in the heart of Historic Rhinebeck.
“Rhinebeck loves Halloween, and we love sharing it with the local children who provide us with gorgeous pumpkins each year to display on our lawn. It is a
tradition we anticipate with excitement, and from the looks on the faces of the children, they clearly love it as much as we do. Watching them arrive after enjoying a hayride through our village is simply magical, and then to see them share their artistic pumpkins with everyone who stops by is really heartwarming”, stated Phebe Banta. (The Banta family owns the Beekman Arms).
