Snapfest at Red Hook Public Library

(RED HOOK, NY) – Future builders and engineers are invited to come to a special Snapology program at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, at Red Hook Public Library. This educational program combines math, science, technology, engineering and literacy concepts using LEGO bricks and other building tools – including gears, pulleys and motors.
This program is free and open to the public. It is designed for children ages five to twelve, and limited to 16 kids – please call the library at 845-758-3241 to sign up.
Red Hook Public Library was founded in 1898 and serves the community of Red Hook and its need for lifelong learning. Since 1935, the library has made its home in a building designed by Orson Squire Fowler. Built by Red Hook Tobacco Factory owner Allen Barringer Hendricks, the house is one of the finest examples of octagonal architecture in the Hudson Valley.
