An evening of WWII-era entertainment will transport visitors back to the Roosevelt days as the FDR Presidential Library hosts a USO Show on Friday, May 24, 2013. Attendees will enjoy an evening of comedy and entertainment, historic film footage, and music from the 1940s. There is a suggested donation of $5 per person.

Historic Military Displays
Saturday, May 25, 2013 – Sunday May 26, 2013
Henry A. Wallace Center   

10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

On Saturday, May 25, 2013 and Sunday, May 26, 2013 the Roosevelt Library will present a weekend of historic military displays in the Henry A. Wallace Center. Re-enactors in battle dress will be on hand to share their love of history with military enthusiasts, families, teachers, and students. Collections of military uniforms, prop weapons, and insignia from 1917 to the present day will be displayed. Customized dog tags will be available for purchase, and period military vehicles will also be on display in the Library parking area. Free public event.

On Memorial Day, May 27, the National Park Service will host a graveside memorial service at 1:30 p.m. in the Rose Garden at the Home of FDR National Historic Site. Free public event.
