This season’s lineup in the fabulously popular Spiegeltent includes world premieres, old favorites, and a host of surprises. A brilliant new house band performs during dinner and caps your evening with live music After Hours. Exclusive reserved seating is now available for all cabaret performances and dinner and drinks are served all night long from a new farm-to-table menu. Join us all summer long for a season of mystery, glamor, and fun.
Opening this year’s Spiegeltent is a special performance by Sandra Bernhard, with her raucous mix of political satire, pop culture commentary, and cabaret. Other evening cabaret highlights include performances by John Kelly, Theo Bleckmann, and world premieres by Taylor Mac and the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus. On Thursday nights, the Spiegeltent is dedicated to great live music by an eclectic mix of local and international stars, including the Hungry March Band, Ikebe Shakedown, and What Cheer? Brigade.
In August, the tent’s resident circus family presents Kinder Spiegel, a series of special performances for audiences of all ages. Want to learn how to tango, salsa, and swing? On three Sunday evenings, the Spiegeltent is transformed into a dance floor, complete with live music and instruction.
After the show enjoy After Hours at the Spiegeltent, an all-live music affair with our new house band, an alluring gang of misfits called The Mayday Kingdom. Host Michael McQuilken welcomes you to a celebration of summer sundown with timeless music from the 1940s to the present.
