Feb. 2 MAGICIAN MARGARET STEELE Magician Margaret Steele returns to The CENTER with a new family show guaranteed to delight children of all ages. The show is light-hearted and fun, with award-winning magic that promises to amaze the entire audience.
Feb. 9 THREE WISHES and WOLF IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING By the Spring Valley Puppet Theater Enjoy two puppet shows in one morning! What would you do if a magic elf gave you three wishes? That’s just what happens to Henry and Gretchen in this puppet production of “Three Wishes.” In “Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing,” a hungry wolf tries to outwit the savvy shepherd and make a meal of the helpless, little lamb. Helpless? Maybe not!
Feb. 16 HANSEL & GRETEL by Tanglewood Marionettes
Come follow along with Hansel and Gretel as they venture into the Forbidden Forest, and into the adventure of their lives! The set is in the shape of a giant story book; as the pages turn, each new and exciting scene is revealed. Feb. 23 DR. MARMALADE puppet show Dr. Marmalade travels the world helping puppet animals who then become her friends and assistants. She introduces the children to many puppet friends: a gorilla with a belly ache, a singing dinosaur, a snake that wants to be a kitty, a giraffe, crow, rabbit and many others. Her “Emerge-And-See Wagon” will surprise and delight all ages!
