The Daily Freeman Reports:Rhinebeck Board of Education to look into medical record privacy

RHINEBECK, N.Y. — School district trustees are reviewing concerns from a parent that students’ private medical information could become public because the middle-high school nurse does not have a fax machine.

The concern was aired during a Board of Education meeting Tuesday, when parent Theresa Melvin said information she sent at the end of the 2011-12 school year needed to be routed through another department.
